Fenty Beauty Highlight Duo
I love everything about this highlight duo. At first glance I thought to myself- this is too much. After I applied it I realized that there was no such thing! Ginger Binge/ Moscow Mule are perfect for my skin tone while I would suggest Lightening Dust/ Fire Crystal for lighter skin tones. Also, I am absolutely obsessed with the Lime Crime Venus XL palette and if it weren't for this blog forcing me to change up my makeup looks I wouldn't use anything else.

Fenty Highlight Duo in Ginger Binge/ Moscow Mule
Candle Scent
This is one of my favorite candle scents. I bought one for a friend of mine as a Thank You and decided to treat myself. As soon as you open the box your entire room will be filled with the scent.
Wet n Wild Blush and Highlight Powder
Wet n Wild was always bizarre to me. Whenever I saw their products in the drugstore I wondered who would ever wear the colors that they sold. I wouldn't and no one I knew would either. With that said when I saw Mellow Wine I picked it up because it looked like the perfect neutral blush. Crown of My Canopy complimented it perfectly and added a subtle pop to my upper cheeks. I wear this combination on days when I wear a bold eye and want a tiny bit of neutral color on my cheeks. Honestly, I want all of their blushes now and I have most recently picked up Pearlescent Pink.
Tarteist Pro
This is another wonderful basic palette. I love this one because of the way the colors are organized. If you move across each row and build you can create a great look every time with no fuss.
I used whimsy, mod, drama, punk and trendy to create my look.

Red Summer Dress
This summer dress....
is everything. I can get my floral fix without being too dainty. It is fitted at the waist and falls loosely over the legs. I plan on wearing this dress with slides - which I will feature soon and GGDB sneakers! Summer is coming and I am soooo ready!

Subculture
I stayed away from this palette because of all of the drama surrounding it. In case you aren't aware people were upset at all of the fallout. They found the eyeshadows to be too powdery. Many also thought that the colors were hard to blend. I've seen this palette in so many people's "Worst products of 2017" videos! To that I say, "To each their own." I could not find this color selection anywhere else so I made up an excuse about getting off of the train at the wrong stop so that I could make a not so quick run to Sephora in midtown and show up late for an appointment. The first time I used it I was terrified of making a mess. Disclaimer- This palette is messy! Yet I still reach for it a few times a week. The moral of the story is that every pan has a lid, every foot has a shoe, every head has a hat- I could go on but I think you get my drift.

Jaclyn Hill Palette...A Wonderful Way to Start
I was on the search for a a green eyeshadow and could not find one that I liked anywhere. At the same time I was hearing so many good things about this palette. It was sold out everywhere...Eventually, it was available at Ulta. This palette is wonderful for transitional shades and it is the palette that I would recommend to anyone who wants a basic set of warm-toned eyeshadows.
I'll use this palette when I don't have a lot of time and/or am not in the mood to fuss too much over my look. She never does me wrong. Sometimes I wish I were a makeup minimalist because if I were this would be the only palette I would own. It is divine.
The Jaclyn Hill Palette...Yes...She has been loved...
High-Top Sneakers
I am currently wearing these beloved vintage high-top sneakers with skinny jeans and a big faux fur coat but once the weather warms up I will wear them with summer dresses and shorts.
Sephora Blush
The only Sephora product I have ever tried was the Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick in Always Red. Walking by their display my eyes locked on this blush and my knees buckled. It had to be mine. It is the perfect pink for medium to dark skin tones. It's deep and rich and kind of hot pinky, kind of a tad bit purplely. I brought it up to the sides or my forehead for the look because life is too short to pretend that you don't love blush.

Pat McGrath Lipsticks
Anarkissed was the first lipstick that I bought from Pat McGrath's collection and I get compliments on it all the time. I ripped it out of it's box and ran to the bathroom to try it on when it was delivered. I knew instantly that we would be good together. 35mm is a brownish red that I love and Elson is what I would call a daytime red. Wrecked is a beautiful magenta that I am going to have to reorder soon. These lipsticks glide on- even the matte ones- the packaging is gorgeous and quite often I don't have to reapply after eating.
Anarkissed, 35mm, Elson and Wrecked found here.

Maybelline Master Chrome Highlighters
Every time I tried to get these highlighters at my local CVS they were sold out. Finally, one day there was one rose gold highlighter waiting for me and I snatched it up like a wild dog. A few weeks later I found the gold one in a drugstore in Charleston.
These add a perfect amount of highlight to my cheeks. For now I prefer to dab the rose gold highlighter on my upper cheekbones but I am sure once summer comes I will use the gold one often as well.
If you prefer a rose gold highlight that can be spotted from the moon use this. You will only need a TINY drop.
Lime Crime XL
Lime Crime XL Palette
I saw a few tutorials using this palette and decided to give it a try. After having used it a few times, I find it indispensable. The colors are highly pigmented without too much fallout.
For the look I used IDOLIZED as a transitional shade under all of the shadows to make blending easier. I brought TRIUMPH down to my cheeks and used it as a blush. I also used PASSION on the outer lid and brought it in to the middle. I used BOTICELLI in the outer corner and INSPIRE and LOVE in the inner corner.

Mothership II Sublime Palette by Pat McGrath
This is a palette I bought and then figured out how to wear. It isn't for the faint of heart- however-in a word it's FUN!
I only pull this out if I am not in a rush and I always have to use it with another palette for more matte shades.
Life Giving Lashes
I'd leave the house without brushing my teeth before I left without a lash. My favorite right now is Jade #13. They fit my eyes perfectly and are easy to apply. They aren't pictured because I just reordered a bunch!
Other favorites are Rouge and Rogue Lady Killer and Luminara lashes, although I find these harder to apply the first or second time they are used.
I didn't want to jump on the bandwagon but I succumbed and tried these. Yes, they are fantastic and horribly expensive...but you get what you pay for. They pop onto the eye without a problem. They can over power a look so save them for specific occasions........or not.
The Creamy Glow
This blush is creamy and intense. I want it to dissolve on my tongue like candy. I apply it with my finger by gently tapping it out to disperse the color. The compact can lay flat when opened and opens by pressing the gold bar-which saves a manicure.
Patrice, Tresbelle and Liquifuschia (my favorites) found here.
Fragrance
I don't match my perfume to the season so these are fragrances I will wear all year round. Getting the smallest size ensures that I won't get bored. I only go for things that can be described as fresh, clean, floral and feminine. La Tulipe and Black Saffron hit all of those marks.
Lila Palette
I became obsessed with This palette after watching a YouTube tutorial by Natasha Denona for a cat eye.
Red Lips
Life is funny. When I was younger red lips were off limits and somewhat scary. You were a real grown-up if you had on red lipstick. I was intimidated. Red lips signified a boldness I never thought was attainable. Today red is my signature lip color.
My favorites:
Sephora Cream Lip Stain- "Always Red"
Pat McGrath- "Elson"
M.A.C- "Ruby Woo"
Kat Von D Studded Kiss Creme Lipstick- "Outlaw"
Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink- "Pioneer"
